Is an innovative alliance of leading companies, associations, and universities from the EU. Together, we are devolping an exciting educational path aimed at enhancing knowledge of blue economy in the fisheries and aquaculture sector.
Europe’s coasts and seas have the potential to generate growth and employment in the coming years.
The BOUTCAR project will generate highly qualified and skilled professionals to achieve European coasts and seas’ economic blue growth.
It aims to develop a training pathway for young people and adults in blue economy, develop competences and skills needed to support EU Green Deal initiatives promoting sustainable blue economy.
It will develop opportunities for fishermen through professional qualification and skills development to operate in the different contexts of offshore wind areas, creating strong collaborative networks at EU level, and raise awareness and attractiveness of “blue careers” among students and young professionals.
